Climb Mount Snowdon
Mount Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales and England, at 3,560 feet above sea level. According to Joanne Owen of Rough Guides, it is a “magnificent magnet” for climbers and hillwalkers and “one of the best things to see and do” in the national park. Snowdon has six authorised routes: Llanberis Path, Pyg Track, Miners’ Track, Watkin Path, Rhyd-Ddu Path, and Snowdon Ranger Path. According to the National Trust, the Llanberis Path is the simplest, while the Watkin Path is the most difficult. According to The Guardian, the best way to “avoid a traffic jam of climbers” is to take the Snowdon Ranger.
Walks and Routes
If climbing a mountain is too difficult, there are other possibilities for a lovely stroll. There are 1,497 miles of designated National Park Authority walking trails to explore. A 4.5-kilometre walk to Aber Falls, one of Snowdonia’s “most impressive” waterfalls, and the 15-kilometre Mawddach Trail, one of the park’s “most flexible and accessible trails”, are examples of “access for all” routes.

The national park has 24 tiny towns and five cities.
